Is Money the Only Success?
Is Money the Only Success, When a
person is said to be a successful person, it usually means that he is rich. So
wealth must be good. Wealthy people spend billions of rupees every year for
valuable purposes, so wealth is good. But have we not heard that money is the
root of all evil? In this context, money is bad. Those who are not rich
criticize those who are rich. At the same time, they love to get rich. So the
question is, is money good or bad? Money is neither good nor bad. However,
because we live in a society where it is often the case that money is equated
with success. It is necessary to clarify a few imaginary things in this regard.
It is also important to look at it from the right perspective. I would like to
make 2 points regarding money:
1. Money
is not bad. Money is said to be the base of all evils. The love of money, not
the love of money, is the source of all evil. There is a significant
distinction between the two assertions. There is nothing wrong with money, no
matter how large the amount. The key is how we earn it and what we do with it.
If money is earned honestly and spent well, it becomes a source of goodness.
The question is, can money buy happiness? The person who says that money cannot
buy happiness will not have much money. In fact, money can buy more happiness
than poverty. "Honey!" Pearl Bailey, I believe she said. I've been
both wealthy and impoverished. I tell you, it's better to be rich.” Money is
probably better in most cases. Being rich is neither illegal nor secular, but
it is also true that money is not everything.
2. Money
is not the only thing that is necessary for success. In the world we are living
in, there are more rich people than ever before. Among these rich people,
countless people are Milliniors and many Milliniors are becoming billionaires.
Historians have called the ninth decade of the twentieth century the
"Decade of Greed." At that time, a priest of wealth had even said,
"Greed is good." However, it is also a fact that the person who made
this statement was a few months later in court for a crime. This happens when
we lose the right attitude towards money. In this way life is distorted, but
not only those who lose themselves in the lust for money go to jail. I have
recently read a book, the subject of which is people who seem to be successful.
They have money, property, power and social status, but they are disappointed.
The question is, if they are successful, why are they disappointed? Why aren't
they happy? The reason is that being happy and being successful are not the
same thing. These are people who seem to have everything but have lost sight of
the basics. They have become addicts. They have become slaves to money and the
things that come from it. During this time, they have not only harmed others
but also ruined their own lives. Success is more than just making money. Too
much emphasis on the importance of money is self-deception. Apart from money,
there are many things that make life more interesting, more meaningful and more
fruitful. What does it mean to be successful? "Honey!" I believe
Pearl Bailey exclaimed. I've lived in both poverty and wealth. Life challenges
us every day to make the most of our abilities. We succeed when we use our
potential to the fullest. We succeed when we give our best. The statement at
the beginning of this chapter states that success is not in
"achieving" but in "working". I can't stress this point
much. Life does not always require us to be at the top. Life only requires us
to perform at our best in every field. This is what successful people in some
important areas of life do:
٭
Successful people accept life as it is. They accept life with all its
difficulties and challenges. They don't complain about it, they adopt it.
Instead of blaming others and making excuses, they accept responsibility for
their lives. Despite the negative elements of life, they say "yes"
and live it to the fullest, no matter what the circumstances.
٭
Successful people are in control of almost every single situation. They look
for the good in people and in the world and usually find it. They think of life
as a series of opportunities and possibilities and always find opportunities
and possibilities.
*
Successful people have a sense of direction and purpose. They know where they
are going. They set objectives, accomplish them, and then set new objectives.
They accept challenges and enjoy them.
*
Successful people are people who act. Action is the basis of their lives. They
are not afraid of hard work, so they do everything. They don't waste time. They
use their time constructively. They do not get bored because they are always
looking for new experiences. That is why they do not suffer from uniformity.
*
Successful people maintain high standards in their personal behavior. They know
that honesty is one of the basic characteristics of a good person.
*
Successful people understand the difference between living and living, they
always choose the latter. They get a lot out of life. This is because they give
so much to life. They reap what they sow and enjoy life to the fullest.
